Who we are

My wild wanders all over the world led me to create a business focused on producing high-quality personalized gifts and merchandise inspired by my travels. Along with that, we offer landscape design and installation, plus graphic digital and printed marketing products with unbeatable service to my local community. With an array of experience and education to build from, I founded Wild Wanders Creations on one of my wanders, fittingly enough.

Meet the Owners

Kris grew up on a farm just outside McIntire, IA, and graduated from Riceville High School in 2015. She then went on to study AgriTech at Iowa Central Community College before transferring to Iowa State, where she graduated in 2022 with a BA in Landscape Architecture. She has tailored her education and experience to focus on woodland restoration and recreation. Taking into consideration all that goes into protecting the natural assets during construction, creating moments to enjoy the natural and sublime beauty, and designing to consider both passive and active maintenance for the lifetime of the design, years after construction is complete. She has experience in not only design and installation, but also protection and 50+ year conservation and maintenance plans that cover entire properties, not just the immediate design.

During and after her time at Iowa State, she worked on and managed conservation, forest management, and chainsaw crews in national and state forests and parks all over the country. She paused only to pursue opportunities in Nashville, taking on marketing roles for music festivals and non-profits. Since leaving Nashville, she has continued doing freelance work for local organizations, nonprofits, and events.

She is currently the Vice President and Marketing Chair for The Friends of Hawn Association, a non-profit focused on assisting with maintenance and land acquisitions at Hawn State Park, New Offenburg, MO. A result of one of her many conservation adventures out on the road and years of continued dedication to the work she put so much passion, sweat, and blood into.

These days, you can find her pitching in to help friends, working at KISS Country and The FOX radio stations, and assisting nonprofits in their marketing efforts.

Mose grew up on a farm in rural Iowa and has worked in construction or construction supplies since he was 21. When he was younger, he worked on his family’s farm, working with horses, cattle, and smaller farm animals, produce gardens, and in the greenhouse. Now, he spends most of his time keeping up with all of Kris’ wild ideas, including this one. He currently builds houses for Levi Henry Construction and does concrete work for Procrete with Brady Bergan.

Mose became a part-owner in May 2026 and is the lead for the installation crew. When he’s not working his regular jobs, you can find him working on projects for the creations side or on installations for the landscapes side.

Mose also has a creative side, designing and building furniture, decor, and structures out of pallet wood and making woodworking trinkets.

In his spare time, Mose enjoys hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with friends.
