Garden Fort - McIntire, IA - STILL IN PROGRESS

This hybrid garden features a raised bed built out of discarded pallets and left over materials from various other projects, 8’x4”x4” posts anchored 1’ into the ground, and chickenwire to keep the plants protected from wildlife. The ground is tilled and gives space for the larger plants with a gravel path between the two for easy access. Once finished, the currently unfinished perimeter will feature 2 standard walk-in doors and 2 large swinging doors that will open to allow the ground to be tilled again year after year.
